Canine MBRT Nuggets - Frozen
These raw microbiome nuggets are delivered as a biome—meaning there are no capsules or coatings. This allows them to begin working immediately in the stomach, rather than bypassing it (as capsules are designed to do). Some dogs will eat them as-is, but most will need them disguised in a small amount of food.
We designed these nuggets to support the microbiome starting in the upper GI tract. Capsules are intended to release their contents in the small intestine—we’ll discuss those later.
For larger dogs, we offer bigger raw microbiome pieces to make the treatment more cost-effective. These are vacuum-packed and must stay frozen—if they thaw, they will turn into mush.
Instructions for Use:
- Calculate your needs. Determine how many nuggets you’ll need—typically we recommend a two-week course per dog.
- Purpose. These nuggets are used to support digestion and improve gut health.
- Feeding tip. Do not give the nugget with a full meal. A small amount of food is okay to help it go down, but avoid large volumes that might overly dilute or interfere with digestion.
- Disguising. If your dog won’t eat the nugget plain, wrap it in a small piece of raw meat or another tasty food.
- Protect the microbiome. Heartworm preventatives, antibiotics, flea/tick chemicals, and other pharmaceuticals can damage microbial diversity. Ongoing use of these can limit the effectiveness of the nuggets.
- Restoration. If your dog has recently been exposed to chemical treatments, this is a great way to begin restoring gut health—starting from the stomach down through the digestive tract.
Each bag contains 21 nuggets.
These are best to be given on an empty stomach, or with minimal food, so that it breaks down in the stomach.
This product is shipped frozen, and must be transferred to the freezer upon receipt.
