Canine MBRT Capsules - Frozen
Our capsules are hand-filled with very fresh donor stool—undiluted and immediately frozen to preserve microbial integrity. They remain frozen until they reach you, and should be kept in the freezer until use. Always administer the capsules frozen.
How to Give
- Administer with a small amount of food only. This helps prevent the capsule from lingering in the stomach, where it could break down prematurely. The goal is to ensure it reaches the small intestine intact.
Capsule Sizes & Dosing
- Small capsule: Supports pets up to 10 lbs
- Large capsule: Supports pets up to 20 lbs
For larger dogs, simply calculate the number of capsules based on weight. Most protocols call for 7 to 14 days of dosing, depending on the condition being supported.
Capsule Structure
We offer:
- Double-walled capsules: One capsule placed inside a slightly larger one for added protection.
- Triple-walled capsules: An additional outer layer designed to further delay breakdown, helping the contents reach deeper into the small intestines.
Compared to freeze-dried products, our fresh frozen capsules appear to require less oral inoculation to be effective—thanks to our preparation method that preserves more viable microbes.
This product is shipped frozen, and must be transferred to the freezer upon receipt.
*Inform your client to bring a cooler with ice to ensure the product does not thaw on the drive home.
