For over 30 years and across seven generations, my dogs have never been exposed to flea prevention chemicals, antibiotics, or medicated baths. As a result, they have consistently maintained healthy skin and coats.
We have developed a unique way to share the microbial diversity from their healthy hair with other animals by using their shaved hair as a natural sponge to transfer beneficial microbes.
The Process:
- Understand the goal: We aim to implant the microbial diversity from my dogs’ hair onto your dog’s hair and skin to support a balanced microbiome.
- Prepare your dog: Clean your dog’s body thoroughly using ozone-aided water to disrupt and remove existing biofilm on the hair and skin surface.
- Apply microbial diversity: Place a handful of shaved hair into a mesh bag, dip it into the biofilm restorative water, and sponge it onto the areas of your dog’s hair and skin where you want to increase microbial diversity.
- Support internally: For best results, combine this topical treatment with oral microbiome supplementation and fecal microbiome transplant therapy (MBRT) to support microbial diversity throughout the body.
